The children at WAH had a great time learning about different tools with Mr. Paul last week.  He showed us the difference between hand and power tools, and how to use them.  It even turned into a math lesson when we started measuring and talking about angles.  And of course, we learned about tool safety too!!!20170407_095022 20170407_095240 20170407_095510

Fire Safety Week

Thursday, September 15, 2016

The Willows Olde-Mill students had a special treat on Wednesday the 14th.  Our local firefighters came by to speak with them about fire safety and precautions.  They showed the students what they look like in full gear so that they would not be frightened if they saw them geared up.  They also reminded them, “don’t hide, crawl outside”.  The classrooms then took turns going outside to learn about the equipment that is utilized on the fire truck as well.  We will continue our curriculum this month based on all aspects of safety by speaking about school safety, home and family safety, traffic safety and fire.20160914_094029 20160914_094719 20160914_094721 20160914_095030 20160914_095034
